
Rhebe Westbrook
Rhebe Ellen Conrad, nee Westbrook, 70, peacefully passed away on February 5, 2022, surrounded by her immediate family. A lifelong native of Baton Rouge and graduate of Istrouma High School, Rhebe is survived by her husband of nearly 53 years, Richard Conrad, Jr.; her two sons and their spouses: Richard Conrad III and Tammy Conrad of Jackson, MS; and Brandon Conrad and Javier Alvarado of Washington, D.C. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Grant and Georgia, who lovingly knew her as "Mimi." She will also be missed by her brothers and their spouses: Jeff and Janet Westbrook; and Boyd and Carolyn Westbrook, in addition to many wonderful nieces and nephews. Rhebe loved deeply and was beloved by many friends whom she considered family. She was preceded in death by her father, Tyrus Westbrook; her mother, Geraldine Westbrook; and her nephew, Justin Westbrook, all of Baton Rouge. Rhebe enjoyed spending her time attending her grandchildren's events, working crossword puzzles, and watching the Hallmark Channel. A wake will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge on Friday, February 11, from 5pm to 8pm. The Rosary will be prayed at St. George Church in Baton Rouge at 9:45am on Saturday, February 12 followed by visitation at the church. At 11am the Funeral Mass will be held. Entombment will follow in the St. George Mausoleum. Pallbearers are Austin Westbrook, Garrett Westbrook, Adrian Griffin, Ryan Gisclair, Brett Conrad, Jr., and Dillon Mathies.
